Hi everyone!

This is just a reminder to all authors that you have ONE WEEK left to submit your prompts for the Shadowmonkeys Big Bang 2024. The final deadline for all prompt submissions is Sunday 12th May, 00:00 GMT.

Guidance on how to submit your prompt can be found in the email all authors received from us on 22nd April and also here.

A few of you have submitted your prompt already, but we'd love to see what exciting ideas the rest of you have come up with. So, please do remember to submit yours if you want to take part in this year’s Big Bang!

I tried to draw a poster with my Steamboat Willie's designs. The first one is made to resemble the posters and covers of Disney Classics from the 90s, while the second version ofc recalls the classic black and white style from the 30s.

[gets really close to the microphone] hey if your guys were a band (AU or just on top of everything else) what genre would they play, and what instruments?

oh man this is SO fun to think about because of all the things the trio are good with music is. Not Up There LOL. of the three of them Davey's the Most musical (mostly in that he likes to sing and is Pretty Okay at it, if extremely untrained). In an AU where they were a band I feel like they'd go for charmingly amateurish garage rock/electronica; Minnie would probably do synth/chiptune type mixing and Buck I can see gelling with drums, while Davey of course is their highly charismatic vocalist. they have exactly 10 listeners on Soundcloud at their peak.
